Our design team attended the site and met the client and took some baseline information and discussed the clients expectations for their new lighting project and concerns over the existing lighting.
Several car parks and access roads had ageing lighting columns and lanterns that, due to age, failed to illuminate the staff car parks or access roads adequately, with staff members feeling unsafe when using the car parks at night.
We provided a suitable lighting design using energy efficient LED luminaires, ensuring compliance with BS EN 12464 and BS 5489 recommended levels of light.
During the lighting design process, we were also providing the client with electrical designs and cable calculations, which meant the client was able to send our design pack to the contractor without the need to involve other consultants.
