So you need a padel court lighting assessment?
Designing great padel court lighting is a bit like making a good cup of tea: get it right, and everyone’s happy; get it wrong, and someone will definitely complain. Luckily, we’re very good at the “getting it right” part.
Our assessment reports goes into forensic detail—yes, the kind of detail that makes planners smile, and neighbours breathe a sigh of relief.
We aim to design sympathetically, identify every receptor, every possible “what if my bedroom lights up like a Christmas tree?” scenario. Spoiler: it doesn’t.
So what is in a padel court lighting impact assessment?
We follow all the serious grown‑up standards (ILP GN01/26, BS EN 12193, CIE guidance… but we translate them into one simple outcome: bright courts, dark skies, happy planning officers and ecologists.
The lights stay inside the court canopies, the spill stays where it belongs (nowhere), and the sensitive receptors stay blissfully unaware that anything has changed.
It’s lighting design that works hard, behaves itself, and doesn’t cause drama.
Padel players get great visibility. Everyone else gets to understand, in an easy to follow format, the effects of the padel court lighting.
And we get to write smug little blogs like this one.
